Registration
Participation in Ormanj Trail is available through online registration.
Your registration includes your race bib, electronic timing, marked course, aid station(s), volunteer support, finisher medal and refreshments at the finish area.

Race Office
The race office is located at the start/finish area. Here participants can collect their race packs, ask questions, and receive last-minute information before the start.
Before the Start
Race Pack Collection closes 20 minutes before the start. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the collection closes to allow enough time for parking, collecting your race pack and preparing for the race.
During the Event
Important announcements will be made by the organizer at the start/finish area. Any schedule changes will also be published on the official website and social media channels.

Whether you are looking for your first trail race or simply want to enjoy a day in nature, Ormanj Trail offers a welcoming experience on the slopes of Mount Ormanj.
Choose the route that best matches your goals and experience.

Vilodor – 7 km
The Vilodor route leads runners through the forests of Mount Ormanj and past the legendary Vilodor Cave. According to local folklore, the cave was named after mountain fairies that appeared in the shimmering reflections of its stone walls. It is a scenic and accessible course that combines trail running with the natural and cultural heritage of the mountain.

- Difficulty: Moderate

Gradac – 14 km
Gradac featured in previous editions of Ormanj Trail and remains part of the event’s identity. Although not included in the 2026 race programme, the route leads through the Gradac Historic Area, a National Monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina with archaeological heritage dating back to prehistoric times.

Please note: The 2026 edition of Ormanj Trail includes the Vilodor (7 km) race. The Gradac (14 km) route is presented as part of the long-term vision for future editions.

Safety & Support
Your safety and enjoyment are our priority. Please follow the course markings, respect the instructions of volunteers, and help us ensure a safe and enjoyable event for everyone.
Stay on the Course
Follow the official course markings at all times. If you lose the markings, return to the last confirmed marker before continuing.
If You Need to Withdraw
If you decide to withdraw from the race, inform the nearest volunteer or race official as soon as possible. Never leave the course without notifying the organiser.
Helping Others
Trail running is built on mutual support. If another participant is injured or needs assistance, stop if it is safe to do so and notify the nearest race official or volunteer.
Need Information?
The race office and information point are available throughout the event to assist participants with questions, directions and important announcements.
Weather
Mountain weather can change quickly. Be prepared for changing conditions and adjust your clothing and equipment accordingly.
Rules
To ensure a safe, fair and enjoyable event for everyone, all participants are expected to follow the race rules.

- Pass through all designated checkpoints.
- Wear your race bib visibly throughout the race.
- Carry the mandatory equipment.
- Respect volunteers, officials and other participants.
- Do not litter. Please follow the Leave No Trace principle.
- Outside assistance is only permitted where authorised by the organiser.
Time Limits
Official cut-off times apply at designated checkpoints.
Participants arriving after the published cut-off time may be withdrawn from the race for safety and operational reasons.
Their result will be recorded as TLE (Time Limit Exceeded).
Please follow the instructions of race officials and volunteers if you are required to leave the course.
Course Changes
The organiser reserves the right to modify, shorten or cancel the race if weather conditions or other safety concerns require it.
Fair Play
Ormanj Trail is built on respect—for nature, fellow runners, volunteers and the local community. Fair play is expected from every participant.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
The start and finish area are located at the mountain lodge on Mount Ormanj, above the village of Doljani near Pazarić.
We recommend arriving by train from Sarajevo. Train 2403 departs Sarajevo at 07:34 and arrives in Pazarić at 08:08. From Pazarić Railway Station, it is a pleasant 1.3 km walk through the village of Doljani to the race venue.
Alternatively, you can travel by Bus Route 33 from Ilidža Bus Terminal (Platform 3) to Pazarić. Buses depart at 08:00.
No. Registration is available online only and closes a few days before race day or when the participant limit is reached.
No race day registrations will be accepted.
Registration transfers may be permitted before the registration deadline. Please check the registration platform or contact the organiser for details.
Yes. The Vilodor course (7 km) is designed for recreational runners and beginners with a reasonable level of fitness. It offers an enjoyable introduction to trail running in a mountain environment.
The Vilodor course is rated as moderate. However, if this is your first trail race, you may find some sections challenging.
The climbs to Šišan Hill and Vilodor Cave are relatively short but steep. If you are new to trail running, pace yourself, walk when necessary, and avoid pushing too hard on the climbs. Enjoy the experience and save your energy for the entire course.
Yes. Parking is available near the start/finish area.
A small parking area below the mountain lodge accommodates approximately 10 vehicles. An additional parking area at the nearby sports field, about 20 metres away, provides space for approximately 20 more vehicles.
Please follow the instructions of volunteers when parking your vehicle.
Yes. Participants will find a refreshment station approximately halfway through the course. Drinks and refreshments will also be available at the finish area after the race.
Absolutely. Spectators are welcome at the start/finish area and are encouraged to cheer on participants throughout the event while respecting the instructions of volunteers and organisers.
The race will take place in most weather conditions. However, the organiser may modify, shorten or cancel the event if participant safety is at risk.
